@mwichary@mastodon.online Every #emacs user will be similarly enraged. C-g is the universal cancel/break/get-me-out key. Of course, it shouldn't be possible for an app to set a global shortcut unilaterally.

@mwichary@mastodon.online As a VI user, this burned me in Terminal. Terminal applications should be immune to control- shortcuts just as they should be immune to shift- shortcuts.
