I replaced Soundcloud with Faircamp. Much easier to use for the user, but harder to set up for the musician. It was within my skills, but many people don't know how to host their own stuff.
Facebook I replaced with a combination of website, newsletter, rss, Mastodon and Owncast. Hetzner supplied a premade image for Owncast that made it within reach for me at the time.

@PersonM@dresden.network @incentive@mastodon.circlewithadot.net YouTube is still probably the best video system, but because of monopoly they can crank the dial to max. This manipulates people into making for the algorithm, get addicted, make stupid thumbnails and sensor themself. Adding Hyper 8 to my distribution stack (or whatever) has been a big shift in my brain. But I don't think we create a big enough force against big tech if it is too hard for normal people to use. Which prompted me to make the poll.
