@lislegaard@sonomu.club @incentive@mastodon.circlewithadot.net @elifyalvac@tldr.nettime.org i understand, "people" in this context are individuals, who want to distribute and showcase their creative projects like music, videos, stories and so on. you noticed, that big companies with unlimited money and coding capabilities can provide all-in-one monoliths to cover up all the needs while holding the friction for "customers" as low as possible and your question is, how to bundle foss-solutions and lower the friction for users too, right? if so, my first answer would probo be something like docker, i think. and you need a source of trust, a group of trustworthy individuals could craft a combining solution without reinventing the wheel. and correct me, if i missed your point.

@PersonM@dresden.network @incentive@mastodon.circlewithadot.net @elifyalvac@tldr.nettime.org hmm. i think it is wider than that. like, people can use linux if it doesn't require programmer-experience to use it. for a while it seems you needed to be a programmer, today most people could probably just use something like ubuntu or mint. how about smartphones? how about smart tvs, how about a cloud storage to be able to share files with your friends? do you think every normie should stop at saas? or should everyone be able to set up a chat server?
