@arrrg@kolektiva.social isn't corporation tax charged on profit though? As opposed to income tax, which is charged on, as the name suggests, income. A corporation wouldn't pay income tax, but it's owners and employees would (I mean in an ideal world where the tax code works properly).

Individuals are taxed on revenue. „Income” conveniently means both revenue and profit, depending on context. It tends to mean profit in context of corporations. In context of small businesses and individuals it tends to mean revenue. Ain’t taxation system designed by the rich for the rich great?!
