@Aradayn@mastodon.social I'm not sure I agree because the social damage *is* an accountability mechanism
it's just not one that's gone way off the rails, in this case and what it accounts for has spiraled into a very stupid arrangement of constraints

@Aradayn@mastodon.social but I don't disagree that the executive class most responsible for the crisis should be taxed out of existence (or other means of removing them from existence would be good, too)
