@jwz@mastodon.social Reminds me of the time I was buying a ton of Cisco gear (100k+) for work, and they had this line item for $700. When I asked what that was, I found out it was a CF Flash card. "You're kidding." "Oh, it's been certified by Cisco." Yeah, I didn't buy that, and ended up going with a reseller who got us a significant discount. (Still didn't buy their CF card...)
