I don't think that's the point here. The upper middle class and rich people are sick of Germany for other reasons. One group prefers a different climate, for sure they wont choose the UK. Many are just sick of the whole system,, the over-regulation, the high taxes etc, the lack of entrepreneurship in general. I don't consider myself rich, but even I moved all my business out of Germany.

@littlealex@infosec.exchange still applies. The UK is high regulation, high tax and very low opportunity. Yes it is easy to start a business here, but the government tone and policy is anti-business and anti-ambition. Socialism is ascendant politically. If you want to move for opportunity you probably won’t find it here. Certainly not outside of London.
