Rather than write one web app and ship it to each platform, we should write one spec and test suite and use coding agents to ship native code to each platform.” Now that this thought was introduced, my annoyance at ever having to use Electron again is probably going to go up a few notches.

    @charlesesmith@mastodon.social, @gruber@mastodon.social – I'd understand people sticking to Electron or Web apps because they'd like to go multi-platform-native but aren't set, or just don't want, to automate their coding. But the point lands squarely enough when the company's message is that their own coding automation is great.
