Huh, TIL: Firefox still provides critical security updates to Firefox 115 (version from mid 2023) for macOS as old as 10.12 (Sierra), until March 2027 😲 Very nice, Firefox! 👏

I asked Codex to do a check of how far back you can go before Skythread breaks, and apparently on Safari it should work more or less fine up to Catalina / iOS 15, and with that Firefox ESR you could even run it on Sierra. (I actually have an old iMac with 10.13, maybe I'll check it there…) I'm surprised that with minor exceptions, all these "new JS APIs" I've managed to use are usually like 2020 era Safari and Chrome & FF a bit earlier 😅
