… are there any old jrpgs that like… actually do a fake out ‘big party for quaint place’, but its like, the beginning of the 2nd or 3rd act, but makes you think its just the end of the game?

Closest I can think if trials of mana. I think you got everything you needed then you go to the final area and then you find out you had to revisit all locations or something like that? Again, been a while so I might be wrong
