@Elizafox@social.treehouse.systems My understanding is that zero companies (except for NVIDIA) are actually profitable when it comes to AI, so everyone is just picking numbers out of their hat to try to make some of their money back, and figuring people will sort themselves into the maximum tier they can afford.

@Elizafox@social.treehouse.systems At work we spoke to a company about pricing for an AI thing, and I'm very confident that they just picked a large number and put it in a quote without any actual tie to expected usage or anything.
