@Elizafox@social.treehouse.systems At work we spoke to a company about pricing for an AI thing, and I'm very confident that they just picked a large number and put it in a quote without any actual tie to expected usage or anything.

@Elizafox@social.treehouse.systems I particularly love the ChatGPT pricing page: https://chatgpt.com/pricing/ You are buying "limited access" or "more access" or "expanded access" because nobody is confident in anything enough to give you an actual number for what you are paying for. It's just "give us some money and we'll treat you at a certain level of customer, and we'll decide day to day what that level of customer deserves based on market conditions and astrology".
