If you look up world GHG emissions you will see that CO2 is by far the largest part. And you point out transport etc but again it's the combustion in tankers, train and trucks that transport. There are emissions froM NG exploration as methane gets released but again minor compared. Chemical processes that use fossil fuels I'm not sure about but it would mostly be in the preparation using, you guessed it combustion.

@CTHW@mstdn.ca @EllenInEdmonton@yeg.bike @uxMark@cosocial.ca there is no doubt that reducing / eleminating combustion engines would solv a huge part of the GHG problems, including Co2 and methane. I just want to avoid that wrongs get established. The following sectors add to the Co2 problem: * Production of Nitrogen Fertilizers * polymerization for production of Synthetic Rubber and Elastomers, Synthetic Fibers and Textiles * Production of Solvents, Surfactants, and Detergents the list is certainly not complete.
