Inspired by the call by @jwildeboer@social.wildeboer.net for posts about things we do, here's a little update on my project. Part of my goal with Kap is to make it into something different from just a programming language. I like making the comparison to Excel which by all definitions is a programming language, but it's also a system with which the user works with and presents data. I already built a spreadsheet-like tool to edit data, but I haven't done much in the way of presenting information. I'm now working on a simple way to define forms, which can be rendered as a native UI, using HTML or even in a terminal. Once I've gotten further, I'll share a screencast, but for now, here's a screenshot. #kap #apl #programming
