@aarparca@beige.party It is also, quite probably, how we get a society that does not understand how to talk about politics. We have to model, practice, and observe these things if we want to create a society that can handle sensitive topics reasonably.

@aarparca@beige.party The folks that insist that everyone else self-censor political discussion would be better off either limiting their own use of social media (a very reasonable and healthy choice), or leaning in and getting involved in something empowering through volunteering and activism, or both.
