@FtRupertTed@mstdn.ca Provided I find the freezer space for it, I far prefer freezer jam, which uses far less sugar, and which doesn’t require additional heat during the hottest time of the year. I did strawberry jam last week, and I plan to pick haskaps with my grandkid on Tuesday. He was so delighted to eat jam made with berries he’d picked a couple of years ago.

@EllenInEdmonton@yeg.bike Thanks for the suggestion Ellen. I’m going to look into freezer jam now because I’ve got tons of blackberries and apples that I’ve got to do something with.
