@CTHW@mstdn.ca Replacing production does nothing to reduce reliance on an energy source that is demonstrably dangerous to us.

@uxMark@cosocial.ca I agree But Canada giving up that production changes just as much. And the world existential threat is far more important than feeling good or local politics. This has to be played out in the world stage. Ironically Trumps Iran war and the locking in of transport ships is doing more to reduce oil usage than anything Canada can do …
