@uxMark@cosocial.ca Yes and not because of anything Canada has done. Canada has the highest per person GHG emissions in the world yet contributes less than 2% of the total. GLOBAL emissions are the problem. Local symptoms like wildfires are the result. Pipelines do not increase fossil fuel emissions. Each time I drive an ICE car does. Yes pipelines in Alberta do encourage more production. From ~ 4 million bbl/day to ~5million bbl/day of ~80 million bbl/day. And any increased Alberta production does not result in increased use as it just replaces oil from other sources. PM Carney has an expansive world view based on his work in Europe and in the UN. Canada has little to do with the world's situation.
