CRAYONS There are many colors In my box of crayons Not all are bright and shiny Some are dark and gloomy Some snarl and bite But a great variety Some are missing I know where they are I see the colors they draw Beautiful hues under the horizon But no longer mine Others have been lost Somewhere in the detritus of time Never to be seen again Some are locked in a box Buried under my bed Never seeing the light of day Sometimes they break through Into the palette of my dreams #PoultryCoroner
