Few movie scenes make me more uncomfortable (consistently, every time) than this one, from the documentary X: The Unheard Music Here's one of my favorite songs OF ALL TIME and then, there it is, the ghoulish spectre, talent vampire Ray Manzarek, fist-pumping in the control room. (Manzarek produced the first four X albums, some of my favorite records ever, so you'd think I'd feel more kindly towards him . . . but . . . The Doors.
