I hope so, but from working with some young people every now and again, those biases seem to keep repeating in one way or another.
That's one reason why I feel that the whole influencer thing is rotten to the core.
Young kids get drawn in from a very early age and gravitate to some of those completely broken personalities and think of them as role-models and take whatever they spew on a stream as fact.
Then again, that might just be this old man yelling at his cloud for the day.

@outofprintarchive@retro.pizza The influencer thing has always been there, although not as extreme and quickly spreading as these days. I remember from history lessons how a lot of fads started with some king or other admired person doing something and people just aping that thinking it's cool. And it as always stuff ranging from having a lisp to their favorite foods or entertainment. There's even one of these things that led to modern day pinball to exist.
