@decryption@aus.social not sure what's possible but maybe the mode you want is charging the home battery from the grid at the same rate your car charges at

@mattrobertson@aus.social at night/when grid power is cheap, that's probably a good idea - but if it's not cheap, but i still need to charge the car to go somewhere, but want to keep the battery available for other appliances, dunno if that'll work (or even if what I'm thinking of is even possible - maybe I should just charge the EV from the battery - which seems stupid to me)
