The many intact rock cut graves and masoleums in the area have yielded many treasures for the local museum, including quite the collection of ceramic statuary and jewelry. There are also some pretty artifacts from some neolithic sites nearby. One of the sites dates to the 7th millennium BC. There are also Hellenic and Roman busts galore. Worth the 5 Euros for a gander and a break from the heat.

This is a smaller museum and it took me maybe an hour to go through all told, including the sheltered Lapidarium/garden outside, but there were enough interesting objects to hold my interest. I liked the colorful glassware and jewelry, especially.
