I think that playing Citizen Sleeper helped me sharpen my intent a little, too. There's a machine intelligence in it that is not nascent but *is* definitely losing its mind in this kind of sad-and-horrifying degradation sort of way (as opposed to the "ethical subsystem disabled, killbot mode is go" way of SHODAN et al. which is a little too much fun)
