@Rickd6@mstdn.ca I didn’t formally count the flat tires. Probably less than 10. What I got were broken spokes because the new rims not designed for such heavy bike. Probably a dozen broken spokes. Restocked on spare spokes in Thunder Bay.

@jfmezei@cosocial.ca we were a pit crew for a friend riding Toronto to Moncton and he went through about 8 tires(flats). Interesting trip and some wonderful stories. We carried his stuff so no broken spokes. Must have been a lot harder carrying all your stuff. Quite impressive!
