@munin@infosec.exchange I too love these ideas but they don't solve the specific problem I'm having as "short of blocking a CIDR range so wide I'd certainly screw real people, I can't drop all this traffic based on the information it presents so now I need to make everyone burn hashes I don't actually need just to prove they avtually want to talk to me"
Which... now that I think about it still probably won't solve my real problem.

@patcharcana@furry.engineer you don't have to block ranges permanently. doing 24h +/- a fudge factor, escalating exponentially, should do the trick.
