At least when Theo de Raadt was being obnoxious, he was usually in the right. Has anybody pointed out to Linus Torvalds that the only people left who are prepared to work with him are those who are being paid to do so, and many of those only grudgingly?

Anyway, Linus apparently thinks it's just fine to be charged hundreds of dollars per month and/or be employed by a large tech company with deep coffers to be able to contribute or make changes to the Linux kernel. This is very much in the spirit of the GPL and not any sort of problem that might come and bite in the long term.

@pndc@social.treehouse.systems i've also seen theo argued into accepting a fact and acknowledging it. can't recall ever seeing torvald do the same.
