LocalMathy is now on F-Droid!! :D https://f-droid.org/packages/dev.micr0.localmathy/ for everyone who missed the first post: it's a math tutor that lives entirely on your phone. fully offline, with no account and no api, where nothing gets sent anywhere. now built from source and signed by f-droid!! so you don't even have to even trust me type out a problem, or snap a photo of it, and it walks you through solving it step by step. it's mainly a tutor, not an answer machine, the whole point is you still do the thinking, just with something to compare against with a proper solution at 2am it runs a small reasoning model fully on-device (~2.1GB) and honestly it's still kinda wild to me how capable these things are on a phone already. you can also bring your own model file if you'd rather use a different one (also icon on the listing is coming in the next update, f-droid pulls it from a fresh release so it's a few days behind. the app itself has one I promise lol) free and open source forever <3 source: https://github.com/micr0-dev/localmathy github releases if you don't use f-droid: https://github.com/micr0-dev/localmathy/releases still early days, bug reports, and feature requests are very welcome!
