Chatting with my Irish friend and we got 'refreshed' and talked about toasts we've heard in a pub His first was "may you be in Heaven a good half hour before the Devil knows you're dead" My own was from my Grandad, who's toast was "here's to those that wish us well, and those that don't can go to Hell!" His last one hit a bit hard - "may you never forget what is worth remembering, nor ever remember what is best forgotten".
