Still really disappointed that PHPStan works against developer-to-developer communication and lessens a cool new language feature in PHP by making (void) casts pointless. And mostly with myself, I apparently was unable to communicate this clearly enough to get this changed. https://phpstan.org/blog/phpstan-fully-supports-php-8-5#phpstan-goes-a-step-further I highly recommend ignoring that rule to improve your codebase.
