playing "leisure suit larry 2". i played this as an 8-year-old without my dad knowing. it was fun and all the adult stuff was way over my head. what i am remembering is how a simple "look" command shows more than "the exits" and the obvious. for example, in the quickie mart it'll describe the clerk. a "look" around the room should describe actor, objects, and anything else pertinent given the UI (a text adventure probably has to describe more). #InteractiveFiction #AdventureGames

really speaks to the design of this style of games. i mean, i really have enjoyed all the "sierra games", as my brother and i called them, back in the day. makes me want to write something in inform.
