I have no idea about disc brakes, but BOY, the squeal you hear on steel rims on the Schwinn Varsity I have you can hear for two blocks, people turn their heads trying to figure out what the heck is bearing down upon them. 😂 (SQEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!)

I have no idea how people put up with it. I'm very happy to say that people are mostly buying electric-assist bikes now and they come with a better quality brake. #BikeNite
