@ai6yr@m.ai6yr.org @ascentale@sfba.social @rasterweb@mastodon.social @bikenite@fedigroups.social Cheap Japanese bikes ("chari") come with a rear drum brake that makes a horrible squealing that's actually painful to my ears. I have no idea how people put up with it.
I'm very happy to say that people are mostly buying electric-assist bikes now and they come with a better quality brake.
