First and foremost... AI data centers are bad and need to be stopped. AI slop code in projects that are meant to be used for anything serious is bad, and honestly, AI is generally not great for humans. With that out of the way.... I wanted to see what the current state of things are with open source tools, open source models, and actually consumer hardware ($300 USD mini PC before the AI panic) Ryzen 5825U with 32GB RAM, and this is what I've got running thus far with opencode and north-mini-code. I have no plans to use this, but I'm quite impressed.
