Making a mental note, like I did in 2023 with Canadian Wildfires, of all the people who aren't wearing masks outdoors.
The sheer volume of hacking, coughing, and chronic lung issues after was off the charts.
And for this cohort, I fully expect people 20 years younger than me to look like an emaciated World War II veteran & 40 years older than me in 2 years.
Wear a fucking mask, in other words.
Not about aestheticism, about cellular aging/cardiopulmonary strain

@FknHannu@zeroes.ca I wore a mask yesterday to walk to my friend’s house around the block. There were two men working outside who looked at me like I had two heads. Anyways good luck to their lungs!
