I don’t know that I have very specific recommendations right now :( I do actually own a pair of whitins. They’re pretty cheap on Amazon and have been holding up fairly well, but I’ve only had them 6 months. They’re also very comfortable for my feet. The only whiff of caution I would offer is that a lot of shoe makers in the barefoot arena tend to be newer companies and seem to be working out kinks. For example, I like the look of Groundies, but the two pairs I had both had the same sole and it cracked after a year of everyday use. The uppers were still holding up great.

Can give a thumbs up to Whitins. They are the bargain option if you are ok with buying from Amazon. They have so many options from so many different materials. They tend to be zero/low drop so that’s an issue for some. One option is to throw a heel insert/orthotic in there to give it a bit of a stack height boost.
