Wide-toe shoes for a more natural fit are hip to those in the know. Those look comfy as heck.

Barefoot shoes as a general cut/style are starting to become a lot more mainstream, so I wouldn’t worry about the shape. All my shoes, and my medium warmth pair of boots, are this style now and my feet feel great. As a bonus, a lot of their soles are minimalist too, with no foam layer, so they last a decent amount of time. Granted, you can’t really resole sneakers. I will have to give these boots a look. Rando pair of shoes in this genre:

I love the threadwork on that! Looks like a Goodyear welt? Should last a long time. I’m actually a big fan of that toe style in my own shoe collection because I’m a size 12 and I think that helps shorten my vertical line, so it can be a really flattering look. I have an everyday pair of leather boots from Thursday, hiking boots from Jim Green, and heels from Red Wing and love them all. It’s an addiction xD

Omg, I love them so very much! I have a pair similar, that are green, but just made by Colorado. They have a similar shape and I was lamenting not being able to find anything similar anywhere. I am so grateful you posted this. I just bought myself a pair of blundstone boots because they last forever, they’re designed to last forever. I’m on a path to buy things that last, I’m right into barefoot shoes. Those are so cool!

As someone with very messed up feet, these look like heaven … do they rub on your ankles at all? Right now I’m enjoying being a convert to clompy sandals that let my toes roam :-)

My partner recently picked up a few pairs of shoes from Duckfeet and loves them! They look really cute AND comfy :)
