@oldguycrusty@mastodon.world I dunno man, I have a genz kid, and she’s way left of me, and I’m pretty left by American standards, which is to say a moderate leftist by European or Canadian standards.
Her cohort is rejecting AI, the cyberpunk future of the techbros, and the panopticon. They trust establishment less than genx. I have faith in the kids.

I was really thinking about us 'older' folks tho really when I said that,, born in the 50s and 60s - boomers and millennials I guess? Grew up on TV like kids since 1990-2000 have grown up on video games, cell phones, and the internet... 'Cause like you say, I have a few GenX and Z people in my sphere and they do give me hope that we can get past.. this.... but a lot of the Dinosaurs really need to 'go'...
