That is so great to hear.. and gives me hope..
I was really thinking about us 'older' folks tho really when I said that,, born in the 50s and 60s - boomers and millennials I guess? Grew up on TV like kids since 1990-2000 have grown up on video games, cell phones, and the internet...
'Cause like you say, I have a few GenX and Z people in my sphere and they do give me hope that we can get past.. this.... but a lot of the Dinosaurs really need to 'go'...

@MissConstrue@mefi.social I have consumed ALL the broadcast TV.. since the 1960s, and I am only now realizing/lamenting now how much all of it's embedded/inherent/chronic 'isms' have shaped and helped lay the groundwork for the whole 'Murca'/MAGA #facist #theocracy nightmare we are living through now. There are exceptions- but so much of that crap is just dreck that feeds the worst instincts.... Anyway, glad you have some 'yoots' in your world... and thanks for the pushback & reply...
