I can only imagine that people like this, deep down, know that no one loves them, and never will. If it weren’t for the immense harm they’ve caused, I’d feel bad for them.

@rk@mastodon.well.com @SeanCasten@mastodon.social We are learning first-hand that aspiring dictators crave power not because they are hyper- competent or emotionally well. These people lust for unquestioned power out of their own weakness, cowardice, cognitive illness, and unmet emotional needs.
