@MarkAtMicrochip@mastodon.social that's entirely fair honestly! Having the hardware available already, teaching a bit of history at the same time, and in general teaching something your familiar with makes total sense.
It was more of a general suggestion I suppose, perhaps 'extra curriculum' for those interested ^^

@anthropy@mastodon.derg.nz do you have any recommendations for a board? Honestly, doing it in an FPGA could have some huge advantages. You’ve got me thinking now!
