Like everyone, I am still thinking about what all of this means (and seeing everyone's comments is edifying).

Is open source/free software over? It is really starting to feel like if people try, they won't be offered any protections - it will totally be a situation where we are just doing free labor for companies.

@yoasif@mastodon.social Is open source/free software over? Wow! So pessimistic 🤣 Just use GPL-like licenses and derivates. Most big companies avoid those licenses because their "viral" nature. End of the drama
