My friend told their partner they needed to go to the ER because they had never heard that before, so I thought it would be good to share.

@Trenton_Hoshiko@mas.to There's been a rabid bat found one town over from me. Our state Health Department's advice is "Wash the affected area with soap and water and then call the health department or medical personnel and follow their instructions" If you get treatment you will be okay.
