18MHz is quite disappointing today. I'm just casually checking the screen between meetings but it's pretty crap.
Went down to 14MHz for a while earlier in the morning, it was busy, even with 50W I couldn't get a message edgeways and I don't like that so went back up to 18MHz for some peace and quiet.
8 QSOs between 05:50-08:19UTC. 3 on 17m, 5 on 20.

@M0KHR@mastodon.radio I had a quick tune round the bands this morning and it was dire here. Some stations on 20m but in the noise, a couple of loud EA stations on 40m and that was me done. 20 watts dont get you far in those conditions
