@syn@basilisk.gallery I've always loved the idea of kickstarting a co-operative company that hired folks (of all types) and operated under similar policies -- base salary, plus one share for each hour worked. At the end of the month, profits are split based on shares. Shares can be donated back to the team or a pool to use for emergencies (like sick leave). My only concern is that it might be a bit of a nightmare to manage... Herding cats and all that...
