Not even the police should be using rifles, except for special marksmen squads. That's how dangerous rifles are, and the typical AR-15 round is dwarfed in power by most common hunting rifle calibers.
Concerns over the AR-15 are greatly overblown by people who lack awareness of the technical details of firearms, but even the AR-15 should not be permitted for the ordinary purposes of self-defense in public, and shouldn't even be considered for interior building defense.

Another obvious example of a dangerously violent man who gravitated toward the #military #security #police #prison industrial complex. Look at #PeteHegseth, his ludicrous attempts to display #masculinity, his #racist, #sexist, and #abusive attitudes toward everyone, demanding #soldiers submit to forced anabolic #steroids hormone #doping. He clearly has #powerfantasies of inflicting #violence, #cruelty, and #brutality. He should not be allowed near other people, let alone #firearms #guns.
