Started re-reading Carl Sagan's "Demon Haunted World" the other night; really stopping and pausing on the opening bits where it discusses what happens when societies systemically discard science, critical thinking and skepticism. It really helped me articulate something Ive been struggling with. THIS. Our present. Reality here NOW. This is what it feels like to enter a dark age. That is what we are doing. #uspol #books
