@eickefrohwein@social.cologne US East Coast, born in Florida now living in New York. I've always pronounced with "row-ter". Working and playing/hobbying in tech/PCs for 30+ years. There's a US/North America plumbing company/franchiser named Roto-Rooter that provides a direct contrast for pronunciation.
