Last night I started to smell the wildfire smoke that's been all over the northeast. In my bedroom. I installed an air quality monitor earlier in the week by chance and you can see exactly when the smoke reached us. (I'm in a 100-year old leaky house)

@James@woof.group Ugh. Hope it clears out soon. Still with us here in MI, though the storms tomorrow should clear it out.

@James@woof.group Sucks that you’re getting the smoke now but it is neat when significant events register on some home assistant graph.

@James@woof.group some sneaking in here. That’s with air cleaners in the bedrooms and that one is the living room. Hasn’t got to where it needs to ramp up.

@James@woof.group Wow, that's some data. Time to assemble a Corsi-Rosenthal box or two to scrub the inside air.

@James@woof.group 😳 this makes me extra grateful we did a massive insulation effort in our house a few years ago Where we live there are state programs for energy efficiency that will come in and do some insulation improvement for free and provide massive discounts on other sorts— as well as replace light bulbs, etc., etc. etc. Do you have anything like that where you are? (I know it won’t help today, but maybe for the next bad moment…)
