And most importantly: I know you’re not an idiot and I’m not trying to be patronising, but self-care is freedom 0. Put on your own mask before helping others. Buy a crappy Android tablet so you can watch superhero movies late at night when you can’t sleep and you’re trying not to cry. Go for a walk once a day. If you fuck up looking after you, you will definitely fuck up looking after someone else, so deal with that BEFORE you’re exhausted and miserable and making bad choices.
